Kathleen E. Cassidy joined the firm in 2011. Her practice focuses on representing individuals and companies facing criminal investigations and charges.  Kate has represented clients charged with a variety of criminal conduct including securities fraud and wire fraud, tax fraud, internet gambling offenses, bid-rigging, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations.  Kate has extensive experience representing defendants in criminal matters that either went to trial or achieved a favorable resolution shortly before trial.  She has also represented clients in regulatory investigations and proceedings before the SEC and FINRA.  Kate has significant experience in conducting internal investigations on behalf of corporations and audit committees.      

Prior to joining the firm, Kate was an associate in the New York office of a national law firm, where she also focused on the representation of individuals in criminal and regulatory matters and conducting corporate internal investigations. 

Kate was selected for inclusion in the 2013 through 2017 NY Metro Super Lawyers–Rising Stars Edition in the area of White Collar Criminal Defense. Kate is a member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers.
